IDENTITY DESIGN
RIT 'Q' Center
RIT's Q Center is a student lounge and resource center for LGBTQIA+ students on campus. Their aim is to create a safe space for individuals, build allies and educate the RIT community. This project involves refreshing the visual identity of the Q Center to meet RIT's internal brand guidelines.

Premise
In 2019, RIT changed their brand identity and guidelines which were to be applied to all internal and external departments of the institution. The idea was to create a uniform visual identity across all content relating to RIT.

Using the guidelines mentioned above and combining it with the official Pride Flag colors, I created several assets like poster templates, social media templates, and merch. These assets were used as examples to show how the RIT brand can be used to create content for the Q Center.

Takeaways
Through this project, I was able to understand how to work within an established visual identity and find ways to be creative while following the appropriate guidelines. I also learned that there are multiple ways to incorporate a secondary visual (in this case, it was the Pride flag) into your primary brand identity.
